ShockTile – Rubber flooring
A DURABLE PRODUCT FOR EXTREME ENVIRONMENTS
ShockTile is a 1″ thick tile that provides supreme durability and maximum vibration absorption. This surface provides the perfect level of support for weights and equipment without showing signs of wear. The elevated profile of ShockTile’s subsurface allows wires and cables to be fully integrated beneath the surface, preventing cable clutter. These 24″ x 24″ rubber floor tiles can easily be installed over any surface with or without the use of adhesive.
FEATURES & BENEFITS
- ADDS COMFORT AND REDUCES VIBRATIONS
Its 1″ thick surface protects the subfloor, provides comfort for the user, increases durability and reduces vibrations caused by the impact of weights.
- FASTENING SYSTEM
By fastening each tile together with a hidden dowel locking system, this method of installation creates a seamless visual effect and secures each tile.
- NO CABLE CLUTTER
The standard 1″ thickness and the elevated subsurface allows for wires and cables to be incorporated under the surface, reducing tripping hazards.
- NO ADHESIVE REQUIRED
The system has sufficient weight to allow installation without adhesive making installation faster, less permanent and better for the environment.
- HEALTHIER INDOOR AIR QUALITY
Exceptionally low VOC emissions.
Designed to withstand free weights and heavy equipment, while at the same time providing the right amount of slip resistance and stability. It has a static load tolerance of 400 psi per ASTM F970. Due to its 1″ profile of recycled rubber, it also has the ability to reduce impact vibration and provide comfort.
A reducer is a transition moulding that creates a smooth slope to allow a safe descent to the surrounding floor. It also serves to protect the edges of the floor covering. Available in black or grey.
CERTIFIED FLOOR SCORE®
A healthy indoor environment begins with low levels of volatile organic compounds (VOC). This system is certified FloorScore® by SCS Global Services. This certification indicates exceptionally low VOC emissions.
RECYCLED RUBBER WITH COLOUR CHIPS
A 1″ thick tile that provides vibration absorption following an impact, while remaining comfortable. This product is predominantly made of post-consumer recycled rubber. The surface can incorporate optional EPDM colour chips to obtain a wide range of colours.
2. LOCKING SYSTEM
HIDDEN DOWEL LOCKING SYSTEM
Each tile is connected to the next with a hidden dowel locking system, fastening them together securely without being visible. This system links all tiles to create one uniform flooring surface.
The elevated subsurface that can allow electrical wires and cables to be routed underneath the floor. This helps prevent cable clutter on the flooring surface and reduce potential tripping hazards.
